Become An Emerging Leaders Academy Volunteer
By becoming an Emerging Leaders volunteer, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in our community. Volunteers teach lessons, help at large special events, and sometimes donate a special skill or service to help our program grow! All volunteers are required to attend and participate in our program. Here you will get a hands on experience of who we are and how you can serve to our organization.
Our Volunteers
Cheryl Ward: After serving 17 years on a drug conspiracy charge in the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Cheryl was released, and is now dedicated to creating a new way of life. She believes that after serving 17 years, 6 months, and 13 days behind bars, that she could make a difference on the planet, and she does this by dedicating her time to non-profit organizations like the Emerging Leaders Academy.
Collette Gee: Prior to Mentoring & Speaking, Collette spent several years working as a healthcare professional in the mental health industry. She is currently working on a new relationship book, which will be available before the year’s end. She is the creator of a web series called “Finding Happily,” is a regular Huffington Post contributor and has been an active participant in organizations that help prevent violence such as the Violence Prevention Coalition, the Peace Over Violence organization and the Emerging Leaders Academy.
